QCY H6 Ultra

First off the sound is way better then I thought they be. For under 100 pair headphones to have good anc, sound and also comfortable to wear around your ears. Only thing I have a problem with the head band could be more comfortable.

Im not a sponsored reviewer and paid for them myself. These guys just deserve some praise for coming up with something so good for less money than a cab ride from the airport.

I bought these unexpectedly after originally waiting for the earfun wave pro x and seeing initial reviews of it that were kind of mixed, especially with ANC performance. I figured i would look at some other brands to see if they had some new stuff in a similar price bracket that might be a better fit for me.

I am a happy owner of the qcy melobuds n70 so i took a look at their site and saw these. They appeared to be everything i wanted in a headphone so i pre-ordered them.

Shipping was quick and i must say, now that they are in my hands, they feel great. The pads are soft with good support, the arms and hinge assemblies are all metal as far as i can see and dont look to be at high risk of breakage. The headband pad is very comfortable but looks like it may not be replaceable long term and is just a thin synthetic leather, so i suspect it will peel long term and get the hockey tape treatment eventually, as my other headphones have.

Putting them on, ANC for my uses has been very impressive. I live by the highway and it cuts the traffic noise down to near zero. Anc appears to be a good step up from my n70 earbuds even with good tips installed. I have little experience with modern flagships beyond time spent at bestbuy. By memory these feel close or equal in performance, but id guess that in a direct a/b they are probably a bit behind. With that said i greatly enjoy my silence and have not been left disappointed in the slightest.

Passthrough felt mostly natural and is definitely useable day to day.

Cant speak for call quality. Endless scam callers have basically brought my use of phone calls to near zero anyways...

Sound so far has been good. Micro detail is definitely there with the separate tweeters, but isnt harsh or siblant, If anything its a little subdued. Bass is nice and speedy with minimal messiness or bleed into the lower mids. Overall tonality isnt quite how i like it stock... HOWEVER, the app is AWESOME. The eq portion not only has up to 10 bands, but each band has an adjustable frequency selection such that it can be used almost like a parametric equalizer (except no Q factor as far as i can tell). With such a powerful app based eq, pretty much anyone can get the tonality they want from these headphones with an evening of playing around. The included presets are decent too, but the depth of custom eq is what makes it special.

As a foot-note here, make sure to install the right app. Qcy has two and the one that works with my n70 doesn't work with these. I think the one that works with the h6 is called "qcy audio" rather than just "qcy"

Cant speak for battery life but with a 750mah battery in each ear i suspect itll be great.

The spacial audio seems kind of useless just the same as all the other flagship headphones ive tried. Maybe i just dont get it/its not for me, buts its always just sounded worse than regular modes.

Overall super happy, especially considering that these are like 1/4 the price of modern flagships from big brands

If i were to change one thing, id maybe have an option for $10-15 more that includes a case. Id feel a bit nervous throwing this into a pack with any sharp items inside. Ive got an old bag from my plantronics backbeat pro 2s ill probably use, but a fitted one would be better.

Honestly, I’m blown away by the QCY H6 Ultra. The sound quality is simply outstanding, the noise cancellation is seriously impressive, and the comfort is fantastic even during long listening sessions. And the orange colour? It looks absolutely gorgeous!

What makes these headphones even more impressive is the price. At this price point, the H6 Ultra delivers an incredible all-round package. From music and movies to calls and everyday use, it does everything exceptionally well.

I’ve tried headphones from many of the big-name brands, but these have genuinely set a new benchmark for quality at this price. The combination of sound, ANC, comfort, design and value is hard to beat.

At this point, I honestly don’t think I’ll need another pair of headphones for a very long time. The QCY H6 Ultra has exceeded my expectations in every way.

I now have so many QCY products, I should own stock in the company. I keep buying their products because you get so much value for the money. The H6 Ultra headphones are no exception. Upon unboxing them, I was immediately impressed with the quality construction. While there are obviously plastic parts, the heart of these headphones is all metal giving them a premium feel. I was very surprised at how light they are. They were very comfortable to wear for extended listening sessions. The sound quality is top notch. I can honestly say these stack up with JBL headphones that I bought for twice the price. I need to do testing in varied environments to truly evaluate the ANC, but it also appears to be very good. Once again, thank you QCY for great products at a great price.
