Download and Update

Please visit: https://us.coros.com/maps to update or download the different area map files.

MACOS

1. Unzip the downloaded zip file to your hard drive.

2. Plug the watch into the computer via the USB cable and wait for the disk symbol to appear.

3.Press and hold the "option" key on the keyboard while copying the entire [map] directory to the root directory of the watch USB disk.

4. Select "Merge" in the pop-up dialog and wait for the copy to complete.

Tips

1. Using MacOS, please be sure to hold the “option” key when copying the downloaded map directory to the hard drive of your watch. Doing so will create a pop-up box showing a “merge” option that you should select in order to avoid replacing the original [ map ] directory of the watch.
2. The map files may take a significant amount of time to be transferred to the watch hard drive. Please plan accordingly and ensure your computer is properly connected to power.
3. Please ensure that the [map] directory is in the root directory and should not be renamed.

Windows

1. Unzip the downloaded zip file to your hard drive.

2. Plug the watch into the computer via the USB cable and wait for the disk symbol to appear.

3. Open the extracted directory, right click on the [map] directory, click on the "Send" menu, select "VERTIX 2" and wait for the file transfer to finish.

Tips

1. The map files may take a significant amount of time to be transferred to the watch hard drive. Please plan accordingly and ensure your computer is properly connected to power.
2. Please ensure that the [map] directory is in the root directory and should not be renamed.
