To preface this review, you need to know that I am a religious “price‑to‑performance” guy — I search, compare and contrast every single thing about every product I buy. And let me tell you: these earphones punch way above their price.
It is practically unbelievable. Using these earphones for gaming on my main desktop PC, the sound (with EQ tuned to my liking) is detailed, crisp, juicy, punchy, dynamic and very high‑resolution. It genuinely makes me wonder: what could be a compelling reason to even consider recognized, established brands? In my opinion — there is none.
The cushions are soft and very memory‑foam‑esque. The noise cancelling and sound isolation are, again, unbelievable. The fit is tight but not high‑pressure. There is no cheap creaking or rattling. All buttons are clicky, with distinct shapes that make it easy to navigate which button does what.
I compared them with the Beats Studio 3 Pro, and it’s laughable that a headset costing ten times more (yes, I know — style over substance) has ANC that is a hissing, noisy horror show, while the QCY H3S is almost dead silent in its maximum ANC mode (Commute). Adaptive sound is clear, though the “bucket head” feeling is present — but tolerable. The ANC is easily comparable to Bose QC, which is also a ten‑times‑the‑price headset.
The Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable. The USB‑C connection (I already had a cable at home — beware, the one in the box is for charging only) is superb. And the battery life… again — how on Earth is this product so affordable while being this amazing? It lasts for days, weeks, even months depending on usage.
So… will I only praise this product? What about problems? Some say the app — I see no issues with it. Some say build quality or plastics — that’s nitpicking at best. I don’t see any fair way to critique this product considering the insane price and the value‑to‑quality‑and‑functionality ratio it offers.
I recommend this product so much it feels unethical. From me, it’s a 10/10.
